It is not too tough to figure out. Take an 80 degree day with not a cloud in the sky when the dewpoint is in the mid 50s. Wind that day up to about 6:30 or so when the sun starts to dip toward the tops of the trees and you can start to feel that snap of a slight chill in the air. Add in Bazooka Joe, a flat out rocking acoustic (more or less) band that covers everyone from John Mellencamp to Van Morrison to the Beatles — and actually does them all pretty good. Savor this from a lawn chair planted in the middle of the beautiful sculpture garden at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. Perfection? Damn close!
Got a few pix to help you remember it if you were there — especially if you were dancing 😉 Just a teaser here and then a few more on the Flickr site.
